Shred Branches and Logs up to 9” in Diameter

Wood chippers make cleaning up after cutting down or trimming trees an easier task. By renting a wood chipper, you can cut up tree limbs, branches and even trunks into easily manageable woodchips. Breaking down wood this way allows trucks and trailers to carry a much bigger load, reducing time and manpower spent on large tree removal jobs. The woodchips can even be used as mulch to support new growth, suppress weeds and beautify your outdoor space.

The right side wood chipper depends on the job at hand, and bigger isn’t always better. Smaller wood chippers are more affordable, use less gas and are more easily maneuverable on a job site. The wood chipper you choose should still have enough power to grind up the largest branches and any trunk growth you plan to throw inside. Measure the branch or trunk at the widest point you plan to shred and choose the smallest wood chipper that can handle that diameter of wood. For example, if you plan to toss both branches and the trunk from a tree with a 5 1/2 inch diameter at the widest point, a 6 inch chipper would be best.
