Do not Waste your time with Area Rentals. I reserved a lift several weeks ago and secured it with a credit card. I drove 20 miles to Area Rentals, PAID for it and was told to drive around back to hook it up to my truck. When I got to the back, I was told that the lift was with another customer and he had not returned it yet. What did I just pay $800 for?!?!? I got a call later in the day saying that the previous customer decided to extend their rental for another week and I would not be getting my lift. They refunded my money.

I understand that things happen that are outside of Area Rentals control(customer not returning equipment). What irks me is that they didn't even try to make things right. They could have called me before I drove 20 miles and had 2 workers waiting to say the lift was not there. They could have told me before I paid that the lift was not available. They could have told the existing customer that the lift had to be returned because it was booked. They could have offered to deliver a different size lift for the same price. They could have done anything to keep my business. They didn't even try. Please do not waste your time with Area Rentals.

Reserved a 55' lift for Saturday. Everything went smooth and the lift worked great.

Working with this company from start to finish has been the easiest and most efficient I've dealt with. the crew that came and did our setup were courteous efficient and worked under some pretty miserable rainy conditions with no complaints. I would highly recommend Area Rental and we'll be using them for any future events.
